01 · SIXTY SECONDS
A minute a country
A country is drawn in eight straight lines, no labels, no borders, barely a coastline. You have sixty seconds. Name it and the clock goes back to sixty. Let it reach zero and the run is over, streak gone and score gone. A good run is one long unbroken breath.
A wrong typed answer does not end the run — it costs a clue and the seconds spent typing it. Only two things end a run: the clock reaching zero, or a third 'Stuck?' pick.
02 · Clues
Each Clue Has A Price.
Revealing more coastline costs stars and points, and the three hints come out of what the round pays, never out of what you already hold.
Naming the country always pays a base of 250, plus 750 at eight lines, so an eight-line solve is worth 1,000.
